What are the dangers to nail health?

  • There is no danger in wearing false nails and no restrictions. False nails do not break the natural nail in any way, the only thing that can change this statement is the technique used to apply them. Normally applied, you can keep your prostheses for a period of 3 weeks without worry.
  • It is a myth to believe that the natural nail breathes. Since it is made of the same material as hair (keratin) it cannot breathe. However, the matrix or base of the nail sweats.
  • If ever one of your nails is somewhat damaged by an accident or too long application, know that your natural nail will be 100% renewed after 5 months.
